Mango Ice Cream (No cream, No condensed milk)
Ingredients
1. Mango (medium size) - 2
2. Milk (full fat) - 500 ml
3. Sugar - 2 tbs + 12 tbs (Total 14tb)
4. Maida (All purpose flour) - 1 1/2 tbs
5. Water
6. Pistas
7. Badams
Methods
1. Firstly, peel and cut small pieces of mangoes.
2. Take a large mixer grinder, transfer the mango pieces and grind it well.
3. Heat a pan and pour the mango puree. Stir it well.
4. Add 2 tbs sugar mix it well, medium flame cook it for 5-7 minutes. Then turn of the flame, keep it aside.
5. Take a small bowl, add maida and pour some water and mix it. Keep it aside.
6. Take a sauce pan, add milk and 12 tbs sugar, mix it using whisk.
7. When the milk is boiled, then keep it in low flame for 5 minutes.
8. Then add maida and water mixture stir continuously until it thickens. Turn off the flame.
9. When the milk becomes cool, add mango puree and mix it.
10. Take a large mixture jar, transfer the mango puree with milk mixture and blend till it become smooth.
11. Pour to a freezer proof box and cover it. Freeze for at least 8 hrs.
12. After 8 hours, keep it outside for 30 minutes. Then transfer the ice cream to a large mixer jar and blend till smooth.
13. Pour again to the freezer proof box and cover it. Keep it in freezer for at least 8 hours.
14. After 8 hours when the ice cream is set, garnish with finely chopped badams and pistas.
