Creamy Pink Palada Pradhaman


Ingredients

1. Milk - 1 litre
2. Ada - 1/2 cup
3. Sugar - 3/4 cup (1/2 cup + 2 tbs)
4. Ghee - 2 tsp
5. Salt - 2 pinch.
6. Water - 1/ 2 cup

Methods

1. Take a pressure cooker, then pour 1 litre milk, 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup sugar. Heat until its boiled. Stir occasionally.
2. When the milk is boiled, close the cooker and cook the milk in very low flame for half an hour (if the pressure cooker whistles, it's not a problem).
3. Half an hour later switch off the flame, wait for another half an hour.
4. Take a 1/2 cup ada and wash it, then boil water in a vessel.
5. When the water is boiled, then add ada. Cook till the ada becomes very soft to touch.
6. Then drain the water completely, take a bowl with normal water. 
7. Pour the ada into the water, then drain the water again. Keep it aside.
8. Heat a nonstick kadai, add 2 tsp ghee.
9. When the ghee is melted, add cooked ada and 2 tbs sugar. Stir it well for 10 to 15 minutes. 
10. Then open the cooker, now you can see the milk in pale pink colour.
11. Then transfer the pink milk to the ada through a strainer.
12. Add 2 pinch of salt and stir minimum for half an hour.
13. When it has become a thick consistency, turn of the flame.

Your sweet and yummy palada pradhaman is ready. Enjoy!
